Her transition into the Market President role represents a natural next step, combining her passion for helping businesses succeed with her firsthand experience delivering hrEdge’s flexible HR solutions.
“One of the things that makes this announcement especially exciting is that Kirsten is already part of the hrEdge family,” said Stephanie Lacy, Founder and CEO of hrEdge. “She knows our model, understands the value we bring to clients and has experienced firsthand what makes our approach different. Kirsten brings an incredible depth of HR knowledge, strong business acumen and a genuine commitment to helping organizations succeed. We’re thrilled to have her leading our growth in Charleston!”
Experienced HR Leadership with a Broad Business Perspective
Throughout her career, Meade has held senior HR leadership positions with organizations including Nexans, Ingram Micro, International Fiber Corporation, PeroxyChem and several construction and engineering companies. Her background includes leading HR strategy and operations across the United States and Canada, with expertise in employee and labor relations, compliance, compensation, benefits, payroll, organizational development, workforce planning and HR technology implementation.
As Vice President of Human Resources and Labor Relations for International Fiber Corporation, Meade directed North American HR strategy, served on the executive leadership team and oversaw HR and safety operations across multiple manufacturing facilities. At Ingram Micro, she led talent acquisition and talent management initiatives supporting a workforce of more than 10,000 employees across multiple locations.
Her experience also includes guiding organizations through mergers and acquisitions, organizational change, HR infrastructure development and complex workforce challenges.

Her additional professional development includes executive mediation training through Harvard University and Six Sigma Green Belt training through GE Capital.
Having been part of hrEdge as an HRO, I’ve seen firsthand the difference our approach makes for clients,” said Kirsten Meade, Market President of hrEdge Charleston. “Businesses need experienced HR professionals who understand their challenges, become part of their team and provide practical solutions without unnecessary complexity. I’m excited to take what I’ve experienced with hrEdge and bring those same resources and relationships to businesses throughout Charleston. This is an incredible opportunity to build something meaningful in a community I’m passionate about supporting.”
Bringing Flexible HR Solutions to Charleston Businesses
As Market President, Meade will focus on building hrEdge’s presence throughout the Charleston market, developing strategic partnerships, connecting with local business leaders and helping organizations access experienced HR support tailored to their needs.
Through hrEdge’s flexible suite of solutions, including hrFlex, hrInterim, hrProjects, and hrAssess, Charleston businesses will have access to experienced HR professionals who integrate into their organizations to address everything from day-to-day HR needs and compliance challenges to strategic initiatives, talent acquisition and organizational growth.
Unlike traditional HR consulting models, hrEdge provides flexible, embedded support without long-term commitments or minimum-hour requirements. Businesses receive the level of expertise they need, when they need it, while maintaining the flexibility to scale support as their needs evolve.
The Charleston expansion is part of hrEdge’s broader Market President initiative, designed to bring its proven HR delivery model into new markets through experienced local leaders who understand their business communities.
“Our Market President model is built around a simple idea: local relationships backed by a strong national team,” Lacy added. “Kirsten’s transition from HRO to Market President is a great example of the opportunities we’re creating within hrEdge. She already knows the strength of our team and the flexibility of our solutions, and now she has the opportunity to build and grow her own market with that support behind her. We couldn’t be more excited about what she’ll accomplish in Charleston.”
