hrEdge Expands into Atlanta with Appointment of Brian Alford as Market President

Experienced HR and talent acquisition leader brings more than 20 years of experience in workforce strategy, business development and organizational leadership to hrEdge’s growing national presence.

Tampa Bay, FL – October 13, 2026 – hrEdge, a leading provider of flexible, embedded HR solutions, is excited to announce its expansion into the Atlanta market with the appointment of Brian K. Alford, SHRM-CP, as Market President. The expansion marks another milestone in hrEdge’s continued national growth, bringing its relationship-driven approach to HR support to businesses throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area.

With more than two decades of experience spanning human resources, talent acquisition, workforce strategy and business development, Brian brings a unique combination of operational expertise, entrepreneurial experience and a deep understanding of the challenges businesses face as they grow.

“Atlanta is an incredibly exciting market for hrEdge, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have Brian leading the way,” said Stephanie Lacy, Founder and CEO of hrEdge. “Brian brings an impressive background in HR, talent strategy and business development, but what really stood out to us was his entrepreneurial mindset, his commitment to building meaningful relationships and his vision for the Atlanta market. He understands that great HR support is about more than solving immediate challenges. It’s about becoming a trusted partner in a company’s success.”

Experienced Leadership with a Passion for Business Growth

Throughout his career, Brian has held leadership roles with organizations including Cambridge Technology, Microsoft, AWS, Experis and Enhance IT. His experience includes building and leading high-performing recruiting teams, developing workforce strategies, overseeing HR operations and compliance and advising business leaders on talent and organizational needs.

Brian’s corporate background encompasses multi-market HR operations, executive team building at the C-suite level, and global talent acquisition management across five countries. Complemented by his entrepreneurial mindset, he also scaled a commercial venture from a single location into a 30-market footprint, which provides him with firsthand insight into the operational, workforce, and compliance demands of rapidly expanding companies. This dual perspective allows him to align people strategy directly with commercial growth, having built high-performing C-suite leadership teams, modernized talent frameworks, optimized HR operations, and directed regional turnarounds that restored underperforming business units to sustained profitability.

A graduate of Morehouse College with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance, Brian is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and a U.S. Army Reserve veteran. He also serves on the board of DBGEM, a nonprofit focused on youth development and career skills.

“As a native Atlantan and entrepreneur, I am thrilled to lead hrEdge’s expansion into my hometown,” said Brian. “Atlanta’s business community is filled with exceptional, growth-minded organizations navigating complex people challenges. Having operated businesses in this market, I know firsthand how critical agile human capital strategy is to driving growth. What attracted me to hrEdge is our agile, embedded delivery model and a phenomenal team of HR leaders who seamlessly integrate into client operations to deliver high impact people strategies. I look forward to partnering with local executives to deliver the strategic HR expertise and operational flexibility they need to reach their next level of growth.”
